Disneyland...two Parks in one day! Day 5

Michael doesn't' remember going to Disneyland five years ago! Bernard gave us great directions and it was nice to follow a map rather than the GPS for a change. It isn't far from the Moulin and on the way we passed the Marriott Resort where Wendy, Craig, Sophia and Wendy's mum stayed only days earlier. Bernard's instructions take us to the Disney Village Carpark which is actually really close to walk to the entrance...and when we left, it meant we weren't leaving with everyone else.
The Park was not crowded at all...we got on Big Thunder Mountain straight away! Bruce and I both did Indiana jones on a baby switch..again...no crowds! In fact the longest queue all day was the Dumbo ride (skipped that) and Crush's coaster (in the Studio's) which was really really good...and a little but scary! Michael coped well!
His favourite was Star Tours ( just like last time) and again I beat the boys on the Buzz Lightyear ride! We missed the 5.00pm Parade because we were over at Disney Studios. The Studios closes at 6.00 but Disneyland closes at 9.00. We had pretty well done everything we wanted by 6.00 so we went to the Village to the Rainforest Cafe. http://www.rainforestcafe.com. The food there is always reliable (but certainly not French!) and Michael enjoyed the forest and how it comes alive.
Then ...anther quick run to Star Tours..then the Dreams Spactacular at 8.30. I was pretty sceptical about this but it was pretty awesome! I had read a bit about it on Trip Advisor...and there are some Trip Advisor contributors absolutely obsessed with Disney! It was a multimedia experience projected onto the castle, with fireworks and using the fountains as well. It's part of the 20 years celebrations and really really good. There was a Dutch man arriving the same time as us at the beginning of the day and he said it rained right in the middle the night before...so we were really fortunate!
So...with some very sore feet it was time to go home and sleep!
